This large four-star hotel may be just a few minutes’ cab ride from Heathrow airport, but it somehow manages not to feel like an airport hotel at all. As one of Europe’s largest conference centres, there’s no shortage of event spaces, including the spectacular Newbury Suite – a glasshouse complete with palm trees and a small waterfall. Another stand-out is the ultra-modern, light-filled Atrium, which lends itself perfectly to product launches and cocktail parties. Food is modern British, and come the evening you’re likely to find your delegates propping up the hip new Bijou Bar. Another plus is that guests get complimentary parking when flying from Heathrow.
