Things are about to get busy for Stour Space. The ethically-minded venue is in a prime spot for 2012, being right next door to the Olympic Stadium. The 400-capacity converted warehouse typically operates as an art gallery, but it also offers spaces suitable for corporate meetings and private parties. The in-house Counter Café, decorated with white-washed walls, exposed brickwork and floating deck on the canal, is available for exclusive hire, seating 150 guests. The mezzanine level has clear views of the Olympic Stadium and is great for drinks receptions, accommodating 75 standing, while The Gallery, the venue’s largest space, is best suited to exhibitions and banquets.
