Mayfair’s family-owned athenaeum prides itself on five-star luxury without the stiffness. With a boutique feel that belies the number of bedrooms, the hotel’s brand of elegant homeliness runs through the three subtly decorated meeting rooms, all providing abundant natural light and views, some over Green Park. The largest space, Hyde Park, works well for dinners and drinks receptions, accommodating 70 seated and 80 standing guests. The room splits into three distinct areas for smaller gatherings. The remaining two spaces suit more intimate boardroom meetings, seating 12 guests each. In addition, St James’s offers a connecting balcony for breakouts during clement weather.
