Atrium
Found at the centre of the 200-year-old Royal Institution of Great Britain in Mayfair, the Atrium’s contemporary design is a sharp contrast to the traditional Georgian areas of the building. This five-floors-high space is completely surrounded by glass, making for a bright area suitable for 100 standing guests. At night, coloured up-lighting and access to the exhibition space, which houses many of the Institution’s historic artefacts, creates a dramatic atmosphere for receptions and parties. For larger events an open plan mezzanine level, including the Conversation Room, can be combined to double the capacity. The Atrium is also available for dining, accommodating 30 seated guests.
