Venue Review of Old Billiard Room at 8 Northumberland Avenue

Housed inside 8 Northumberland Avenue in central London, the Old Billiard Room is the second largest of the venue’s 10 event spaces. The whole building underwent a major refurbishment in 2009, restoring it to its grand Victorian style. The room itself is suitable for medium-scale conferences, dinner dances or parties, with a maximum capacity of 404 seated guests. If more space is required, there’s an annex, which works well as a reception or dancing area – 200 standing – for dinner events. For larger events still, the Old Billiard Room can be used in conjunction with the Ball Room, the venue’s largest space. The combination will accommodate for around 900 theatre style.
