With its versatile function rooms and elegant décor, Kensington Conference & Events Centre (KCEC) lends itself well to wedding receptions. Wood panels line the walls and ceiling in the Great Hall, which holds 400 for dinner and dancing, while the adjacent foyer is ideally suited to a drinks reception for 300. For something more intimate there is the elegant, 80-capacity Small Hall, also with its own foyer. Smaller still are the committee rooms, which offer private dining for 20-32 guests. KCEC uses a preferred list of caterers which includes Moving Venue and Richmond Caterers. Although the venue doesn’t have a wedding licence, the borough isn’t exactly short of churches and the registry office at Chelsea Town Hall is a hop, skip and jump away.
