Venue Review of Bishopsgate Institute

This beautiful Grade II-listed building has served as a home for learning and debate since 1895. Today its facilities suit conferences and launches, examinations and rehearsals, as well as more intimate meetings and corporate training events. There are six spaces to choose from with seating capacities ranging from four (in one of the two Meeting Rooms) to 150 in the newly refurbished Great Hall, now restored to its Victorian-style glory. All rooms are equipped with the latest AV tools. Bishopsgate Institute’s catering partner is benugo, which supplies colourful locally sourced food and offers a bespoke menu option. To celebrate the various events taking place in London 2012 Bishopsgate Institute is hosting a series of talks and debates related to the Olympics, the Queen's Jubilee and Dicken's centenary.
The venue has also launched a 'Best of Times' offer, hold a meetings before the end of May for £50pp. This includes room hire, tea and coffee on arrival, morning and afternoon tea, a sandwich lunch, mineral water and juices throughout the day, as well as a projector and screen. The offer is available in the Great Hall, the Courtyard Room with its patio and the Boardroom. For an additional £12pp, guests can unwind with a selection of wines, beers, ciders and snacks for an hour and a half after your meeting.
