It might be a stone’s throw from Westminster Palace but it’s not just Quirinale’s location that makes it a favourite with the area’s politicians. Taking its name from Rome’s presidential palace, the venue, designed by David Collins, is an airy space with cream leather banquettes, limestone and limed-oak floors. Head chef Stefano Savio has established a reputation for his outstanding Italian food. Importing a large amount of ingredients direct from Italy, he prepares dishes simply, but with flair. Menus change regularly and are based on seasonal produce. The restaurant can be subtly separated to create two spaces, making it suitable for a Champagne and canapé reception followed by dinner.
