Let colleagues square up on the go-karting track at new arrival Teamsport, set just around the corner from Bermondsey tube station. The track is home to the UK’s first fleet of eco-friendly, carbon-neutral karts, which are powered by lithium batteries to speeds of up to 40mph. The hi-tech two-tier track, with its hairpin bends and elevated flyovers, can be used as one huge 800m circuit or divided into two. Grand Prix packages allow each racer equal track-time, while meetings, in the pair of modern on-site conference rooms, can be built in around the racing. Recharge after the on- or off-track action in the bar, which does a fine line in stone-baked pizza.
