Exterior
Bursting on the scene in 2010, Inamo St James couples high-quality pan-Asian food and a slick setting with state-of-the-art-technology – or, more specifically, the world’s first interactive table. Diners can choose their tablecloth, peruse the menu and order, then watch the kitchen in action – a great talking point at parties. Endless branding possibilities are available here: company logos beamed onto the table or video footage screened as guests wait for food. Three PDRs are available for between 16 and 18 guests, while an indoor ‘Japanese Garden’ hosts 120. Bespoke canapé and cocktail menus can be designed and then, of course, chosen interactively at the table.

The venue has teamed up with Mastercard to offer sushi and sake masterclasses, available for groups. The sessions, bookable on any afternoon or evening, sees guests learning how sake is made (and
drinking it, of course) in one of the restaurant’s PDRs, before heading to the kitchen for a how-to in crafting perfect sushi. It’s £25pp and classes last 90 minutes.
