Set on Holborn Circus on the western fringe of the City, the site of St Andrew Church has been a place of worship since Roman times. The Sir Christopher Wren-designed structure was built after the Great Fire of London and restored in the 1960s. Today the building is also popular for events, across a series of spaces in the church, courthouse and crypt. The Wren interior of the church makes an atmospheric backdrop for dinners and concerts, while the Crypt, excavated in 2001, is a dramatic subterranean space for receptions. At the other end of the spectrum, there’s plenty of straight-up meeting space, while catering comes from an in-house team and a list of preferred suppliers.
