The five-star Corinthia Hotel London opened its doors in 2011 following a four-year refurb of the former home of the Ministry of Defence. The family-owned hotel has retained much of the building’s historic architecture while adding contemporary touches. Largest of the eight function rooms is The Ballroom, which can hold 350 for a reception. It is connected to the 200-capacity Court Room, which has views of the hotel’s gardens. Six meeting rooms, equipped with high-tech AV facilities, include The Nelson, which holds 70 delegates. Leisure facilities extend to a spa, ESPA Life at Corinthia, as well as two bars and two restaurants: Italian fine diner Massimo has a PDR for 20 guests.
