Part of the University of London estate, Senate House – London’s first skyscraper – sits in the heart of Bloomsbury, among the homes of many literary luminaries of the 20th century, close to the British Museum and British Library. Behind the art deco façade is a versatile venue, fresh from an extensive three-year refurbishment that preserved the original features of its 15 function rooms while upgrading AV kit throughout. Spaces suit a range of events, from lectures and conferences in The Senate Room to fashion shows or banqueting in the versatile 580-capacity Beveridge Hall, while the elegant gardens cater for alfresco breakouts as well as summer entertaining or teambuilding.
