Weddings & civil partnerships can now be held at No.11 Cavendish Square, after the West End venue was awarded a licence in spring 2011. The Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse has been carefully restored to introduce contemporary interiors across almost 30 rooms in the historical building. Highlights include the courtyard garden, complete with ‘living wall’ & candlelit water feature, & a large Orangery dotted with small mandarin orange, olive & kumquat trees, for wedding breakfasts of 100. For smaller events, we also like the townhouse feel of the President’s & Treasurer’s rooms for up to 24 guests. There’s plenty of fodder for photographs too – a period staircase, the Orangery & courtyard garden as well as leafy Cavendish Square just outside.
