This east London curry house sits on the City side of Aldgate’s curry heartland in style as well as location. Monochrome interiors have a more upmarket brasserie feel than those of its compadres on Brick Lane, with moody lighting and woodcut screening. Menus deliver well-executed renditions of all the curry house classics alongside less familiar regional dishes, with plenty of options for groups of up to 140 diners. A retro lounge bar offering an eclectic cocktail list is also available for pre-dinner drinks and can be divided up for smaller parties. Prices are surprisingly reasonable, with set menu sharing options for banquets and business lunches alike.
