The City of London has no shortage of grand Victorian buildings that lend themselves to weddings, but few can compare with One Moorgate Place. Its Main Reception room is a truly dramatic space, with its high domed ceiling, fresco-covered walls and English glass chandeliers. Large parties tend to book it with the adjoining Great Hall, which can comfortably accommodate 250 guests to dine. There’s also a classically decorated Small Reception room for parties of up to 18 dining, and a more contemporary restaurant that can accommodate 80.
