As you'd expect, the HQ of the Royal Institute of British Architects makes a grand setting for weddings. Many of the spaces available are licensed for civil marriages, ranging from the leather-lined Aston Webb Room for intimate ceremonies of up to 40, to the wood-panelled Jarvis Hall that seats up to 250. Welcome drinks are best served on the art deco First Floor Landing, with high ceilings & marble pillars making the perfect focal point for photos. A grand piano – with or without pianist – is available to hire here. The largest & most richly decorated room, the breathtaking Florence Hall, is the stand-out spot for wedding breakfasts, able to host 250 for a dinner-dance or 400 for a stand-up reception. The newly refurbished Terrace is available in the summer months as a party-ready outside space.
