Reception - staircase
A grand marble staircase & majestic glass dome welcomes guests as they walk through the doors of Clothworkers’ Hall. Rich wood panelling, stained-glass windows & portraits are a running theme throughout the venue’s seven rooms giving it a homely & romantic feel for weddings. You could easily mistake the livery hall for an upmarket country house, lending it perfectly to London ceremonies looking for an out-of-town feel. Make full use of the building by moving from the Reception Room for drinks to the Livery Hall (up to 180 guests) for dinner with a space for musician, grand piano & plenty of room for dancing. The more intimate Drawing Room & Library can accommodate 12 & 16 seated guests for pre/post dinner drinks, or can be used as a changing room for the bride. Chester Boyd caters exclusively – check it out for traditional British food with a contemporary twist.
