Kept at a steady five below zero, London’s coolest watering hole is the UK’s only permanent bar made of ice. In fact, everything in Icebar London is built from the purest Swedish ice, from the walls to the furniture and the glasses. Even wrapped in one of the bar’s designer thermal capes, sessions in the Icebar itself only last for 40 minutes, so parties can retire to one of the event spaces in the venue next door – belowzero restaurant+lounge – for more temperate entertaining. There, the Moose Dining Room is the larger of the two, an attractive vaulted space with exposed beams, a VIP area and its own entrance. Next to that, the cosy Reindeer Lounge is just as inviting.
