With a riverside location right beside Embankment Tube station, Opal is a great choice for planners wanting a central venue with a contemporary vibe. The bar itself is divided into two spaces. Blanca, which can take 50 for a sit-down lunch or dinner, is light & airy & has views of the Thames; downstairs in the larger Noir (140 for a sit-down affair) the mood gets sexy, with cocktails to match. Booths overlooking the dance floor can squeeze in up to 30 (making it ideal for office outings), & both floors can be hired exclusively for events of up to 672. Daily happy hours offer half-price food and drinks from 5-8pm & it is also possible to arrange priority entry for groups on busy club nights.
