Twickenham Stadium has been designed specifically with conferencing and events in mind and its state-of the-art auditorium, the Live Room, is one example of this. Providing a blank canvas for conferences, AGMs and staged events for a standing audience of up to 600, it boasts a double-height ceiling to enhance acoustics and customised lighting effects managed by a AV control booth. The tiered seating is retractable at the touch of a button. Product launches are particularly popular as the space accommodates a car. The projection system features a 4x3m screen, DVD player and infra red ‘Listen’ system. For larger events of up to 1,500, the Live Room can be used with the Rose Suite.
