With a range of packages that were launched in 2010 for smaller parties, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) lends itself just as readily to more intimate Christmas celebrations as large-scale events. Menus have been carefully designed & updated for 2011, running from canapés for £14.50 pp to a four-course fine dining package for £41pp - with bowl food or buffets also on offer. Seasonal cocktails & shots are a fun spin on the traditional festive drinks list - 'Santa's Delight' or 'Angel's Kiss' any one? Alternatively the team can create a bespoke cocktail especially for your event. Room hire is an extra on top of the catering, starting from the 150-capacity first floor landing for £1,330 (ex VAT). For smaller groups the 'Winter Wonderland' package in the Wren (100 seated) or Hawksmoor Suites (20 seated) is perfect, prices are from £2,250.
