Barbican Conference Centre knows how to throw a good party and its atmospheric Conservatory & Garden Room is just the spot for a winter soiree. The Conservatory – an indoor home to tropical birds and fish, as well as more than 2,000 plant species - is one of the City's best-kept secrets. During dark winter evenings, the area is floodlit to create a magical setting for cocktail or Champagne receptions for 200 guests. There’s dinner and dancing (also for 200) in the adjacent Garden Room, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the cityscape of London and St Giles’ Church.
