Home of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners, the HQS Wellington is moored on the Thames by Embankment, between the City and the West End. The river views here are some of the best in town and spaces surprisingly varied. Christmas parties begin with drinks among the antique model ships in the quirky Model Room, before moving down the spectacular spiral staircase to the wood-panelled Court Room for dinner and dancing (the DJ spins records from the wooden court dock). Afternoon entertaining is another popular option. All parties are catered for by exclusive caterer Chester Boyd.
