With a prime Piccadilly Circus location & one of the most fabulous interiors in the capital, The Criterion has been drawing in A-listers for more than a century. After a few years out of the limelight, the Grade II-listed restaurant is seeing a return to form under new ownership, with a strong emphasis on private events. When booked exclusively, the decadent dining room seats 150 beneath stunning gold ceilings – & it’s just as well suited to stand-up receptions for up to 250. Smaller parties can use The Terrace, a raised area at the back of the restaurant, which holds up to 70. The cuisine is modern British with Mediterranean influences & features a great range of grills for two to share.
