The neo-Georgian home of the Law Society sits behind one of the City’s most imposing facades. Inside, however, interiors are a mix of contemporary and traditional. The Six Clerks offers a bit of both, blending its 19th-century features and generous proportions with a modern design and colour scheme. Informal dining works well here, with exclusive hire available after 6pm. The restaurant has space for 40 seated, and for pre- or post-meal drinks you’ll find a comfortable chill-out area. The main menu focuses on seasonally-led and predominantly British cooking, and is complemented by an extensive wine list. A variety of menu options is available for private functions of more than 30 people.
