With a more neighbourhood feel than its siblings in the Soho House Group, High Road House is a private members’ club with rooms in Chiswick. All 14 small but comfortable bedrooms are available to the public – as are three function rooms downstairs, which can be joined for a reception of 150 guests. Of the three, the Playpen has large sofas and a bar with capacity for 30, while the Games Room features a football table and 40in TV with Sky+. The Playground has a similarly relaxed feel, with low-level seating and a 60in TV. Upstairs, a PDR seats up to 14 for meetings or dining. The venue’s business-friendly location halfway between central London and Heathrow is another plus.
