Tucked away in peaceful Devonshire Square, the Cinnamon Kitchen – younger, funkier sibling to Westminster’s handsome Cinnamon Club – comprises a trio of different event spaces. Anise is a roomy cocktail bar with a cool deconstructed feel, a slick backdrop for receptions, while the 130-capacity restaurant features a long tandoor bar for interactive group dining, plus an elegant 16-capacity PDR with kitchen views. The compact a la carte – more keenly priced than its older sister’s – combines subtle spicing and seasonal produce, which also run through the party and cocktail menus. A decked terrace gives an alfresco feel without the chill as the whole square is under glass cover.
