A striking contemporary space designed by award-winning architect Rick Mather, the Courtyard sits at the heart of the grand 18th-century townhouse that houses The Wallace Collection. With its glazed roof and bay trees, the airy and elegant design of this space gives events a pleasant alfresco feel all year round. Accommodating a maximum of 160 seated diners and up to 300 for drinks receptions, the space lends itself just as readily to wedding receptions as award ceremonies. For an added dose of culture, parties in the Courtyard can take in a private viewing of the world-famous works by the likes of Titian, Rembrandt, Hals and Velázquez displayed in the surrounding galleries.
