Sheraz Bangla Lounge Information:
Sitting on the former site of the Ye old Frying Pan pub, the Sheraz Bangla Lounge at the gateway to the Bangla Town of Brick Lane is steeped in the rich heritage of London’s East End, this being the place where the infamous Jack the Ripper picked up his first victim, Mary Nicholls. This contemporary diner is full of bright colours and sleek modern lines, while the lighting gives it a futuristic feel. It serves up unique Bengali and Indian home cooking, based on traditional recipes sources from different parts of Bangladesh, and with many of the ingredients sourced locally from Brick Lane’s famous grocers. This popular sub-continental curry house has a capacity of more than 100 diners, and offers larger scale bookings for ceremonial occasions.
