High ceilings, black leather banquettes, oak floors and huge windows give The Mercer an impressive yet refreshingly relaxed atmosphere. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant can accommodate up to 40 guests for private dining and can also be hired exclusively for up to 200 standing or 100 seated. Menus feature carefully sourced seasonal British produce, with dishes including warm salad of black pudding or crispy pork belly with roast scallop, followed by the eponymous Mercer beef and ale pie. More than 400 wines are on the well-thought-out list, with an impressive 32 available by the glass and carafe. A new private room seats up to 30 and has full AV facilities.
