Hidden in Soho’s eccentric Frith Street is Moroccan and Spanish restaurant El Cantara. Cantara meaning 'The Bridge', has been exhumed from North Africa and placed amongst the bustling atmosphere of Soho. The ground floor seats 40 and houses a grand array of Spanish tapestry, as well as paintings, lights and even a Spanish guitar. The first and second floors have been inspired by Arabia, with the use of dark reds and black. These rooms are suitable for large parties and private bookings and seat 50 and 35 respectively. The venue offers live belly dancing two nights a week and live music on Sundays. Traditional Moroccan and Spanish dishes are served up at a reasonable price and are perfect for sharing in a party atmosphere.
