Venue Review of The Garden at Gibson Hall
Alfresco entertaining space is a rarity in this part of town, so Gibson Hall is justifiably proud of its handsome courtyard garden. Tucked away from Bishopsgate, it’s hard to believe that Liverpool Street Station is so close. The sunny spot comes into its own in the summer months for barbecues and receptions as well as weddings – with marquee hire an optional extra – but can also be used in conjunction with the Garden Room, a more weather-proof option with views over the courtyard. The latter has capacity for a standing reception of 280 or 80 for a sit-down dinner with drinks outside. Summer canapé receptions and barbecues are well catered for by award-winning caterers Kudos.
