Restaurateurs Mark Fuller & Garry Hollihead relaunched this 68-year-old Notting Hill stalwart as a posh fish & chip joint in May 2007. Geales is elegantly decorated with white napery, grey walls & black banquettes & the food is excellent. There’s more on offer than just fish & chips as diners can opt for anything from lobster & oysters to fishcakes & fish pie. It’s a fun & unusual venue for parties, featuring a glamorous Champagne bar where guests can kick off with drinks, as well as a private dining room that can hold up to 12 diners. It is also possible to take over the whole eatery & host a dinner for up to 60 people or a canapé & drinks reception for up to 120 guests.
