Beach Blanket Babylon – or BBB as it’s affectionately known – is one of London’s most well-established bar & restaurant combos. Opened to much acclaim in 1990, it is most famous for its opulent interior, which combines influences from French country chateaux & the cathedrals of Spain in a quirky space that’s bursting with atmosphere – think Gaudí meets Louis XIV in ‘Boho Chic’ Notting Hill. Over the years, BBB has also developed a reputation for being an excellent events venue, able to accommodate anything from intimate dining in the 36-capacity Chapel to 17th-century themed balls & lavish cocktail receptions in the Ballroom, which has space for up to 200 guests.
