The Peasant Information:
Family owned by brothers Patrick and Gregory Wright, The Peasant is an English Heritage, Grade II-listed, red brick Victorian pub in Clerkenwell. Its interior has been designed to create a relaxed & comfortable ground-floor pub with a more elegant & formal upstairs restaurant. Downstairs is a stylish mix of reclaimed sofas & original pub furniture, warmed up by a fully working traditional fireplace & impeccably friendly service. It is available for private functions of up to 100 guests. Food in the pub has a rustic feel, while the handsome upstairs dining room, with capacity for 80 guests, serves a more adventurous menu. There's a private conservatory & a beautiful garden terrace too.
