Ivory Room
Set in a striking Georgian townhouse at the bottom of Charlotte Street, this popular restaurant and bar – a favourite among Fitzrovia’s media companies – is designed throughout in the sultry, lacquered style of colonial Indochine. Spread across four storeys, there are two handsome dining rooms and four private rooms for dinners of up to 30 as well as a top-floor cocktail bar. The SE Asian-influenced menu, which blends ingredients from Thailand, China and Vietnam, makes perfect party food. A fine selection of canapés can be served with cocktails in the Red Bar, while dishes such as spicy king prawns with spring onion and crispy fried bream with green papaya are well suited to sharing.
