The launch of the Prince Consort Rooms in 2007 added a contemporary facet to the Honourable Artillery Company’s venue collection, which also includes the historic rooms of Armoury House and the six-acre grounds they both sit on. Built in the shell of the venue’s original Victorian drill hall, the space comprises two areas, individually named the East and West Albert Rooms, which can be used separately or in combination, with support from hi-tech AV equipment, an ambient lighting scheme and Wi-Fi. A separate courtyard entrance ensures events can run alongside those in the main house without any overlap and the rooms are suited to conferencing as well as dinners and receptions.
