The Prince Consort Rooms at The HAC Information:

The HAC has launched the City’s newest venue – the Prince Consort Rooms – with a fantastic summer party that doubled as a Square Meal reader event on 13 June. More than 400 guests enjoyed Champagne on the lawn & tours of Armoury House before moving through to the Prince Consort Rooms for the party. Diehard Apprentice fans who were concerned they would miss the last episode had no need to worry – the grand final between Simon & Kristina was shown to great effect on the big screen.

The HAC, with its magnificent six acre garden & historic Armoury House, has long been one of the City’s secret gems. With the addition of the Prince Consort Rooms, which were officially opened by HM The Queen in May, the HAC is also now able to offer one of the largest capacity venues in the City. Built in the shell of the original Victorian drill hall, the Prince Consort Rooms are modern & contemporary yet incorporate elements of the HAC’s fascinating history. This combination has created an exceptionally sleek & stylish venue of great character which will undoubtedly become one of the City’s most popular venues.

Equally suited to both daytime conferences & evening events, the Prince Consort Rooms feature an in-built atmospheric lighting scheme, audio-visual infrastructure & wireless broadband connection. The flexible event space can be used as one large room, accommodating sit-down dinners for up to 450 guests & receptions for around 700, or split into two smaller areas.
