Summer Party Info: The Summer Pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery is available to hire from August to November. Every year, the Serpentine commissions an internationally renowned architect to design a temporary structure for the lawn in front of the gallery itself. The 2008 Pavilion will give London the first example of Frank Gehrys spectacular architecture. The highly articulated structure comprises of large timber planks and multiple glass panes that soar and swoop at different angles to create a multi dimensional space. The 2008 Pavillion will certainly prove to be one of the most sought after venues of the summer and with capacity for 200 early booking is highly recommended.
