Belgravia makes a suitably genteel setting for The Caledonian Club, a private members’ club tucked away just by Hyde Park Corner. Grand original architecture is complemented by elegant design, modern facilities and traditional touches that betray its Scottish allegiance. Eight private function rooms, spread across the clubhouse’s old and new wings, all come with free Wi-Fi and video conferencing facilities. During the summer, the Terrace (booked along with the Oval Room) is a pretty setting for alfresco entertaining. The venue is also licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, with 39 luxury bedrooms to accommodate guests. Membership is not a pre-requisite for holding functions at the club.
