A well-known name across the city, Smollensky’s is most famous for its hearty grills, but also serves up some fine event space. Established in London for over 20 years and now with two sites (Canary Wharf and The Strand), the group still abides by the principles it set out with: good food, gracious service and value for money. The Canary Wharf venue can host a maximum of 200 guests for a reception and 130 for dinner when hired in its entirety, with a wine bar-style vibe and location near the station for Wharf-based offices. The Strand outpost has more of a New York vibe to it, decked out in cool blues with moody lighting. The space can hold 300 for dinner and 500 for a reception.
