The Royal Statistical Society Information:

Founded in 1834, The Royal Statistical Society’s headquarters now provides a venue for major events, conferences, seminars & banquets. These stylish & airy function rooms are available for anything from a small meeting for four to a large conference for over 200 people. The most impressive room is probably the 250-capacity Lecture Theatre, which, with its open-beamed ceiling & tall windows still has a spacious & airy feel even when it’s full. Meanwhile, the Council Chamber, with its bookcase-lined walls, makes a lovely setting for meetings & training seminars. Situated in the City, the Society is close to three underground stations: Moorgate, Old Street and Barbican.
