Prestigious Victorian landmark The Langham, London opened in 1865 as Europe’s first ‘Grand Hotel’ & has been hosting royalty, foreign dignitaries & celebrities ever since. Early 2009 will see the final completion of its multi-million pound refurbishment programme & the unveiling of transformed interiors throughout the hotel. All 260 bedrooms have been upgraded, along with the Palm Court & 12 further function rooms, including the standout Grand Ballroom, which seats 280 guests for banquets. The new spaces join Artesian, The Landau & Postillion, the gorgeous David Collins-designed bar, restaurant & private dining room, which launched with the completion of the first phase of refurbishments in 2007.
