Set near the top of Park Lane, the four-star Cumberland Hotel combines upmarket service with contemporary style. The first hotel in London to introduce direct-dial telephones in all its bedrooms back in the 1920s, its trail-blazing ethos continues today. Very business-focused, it has 26 well-equipped function suites and an impressive 1,019 bedrooms. The largest meeting space is the Ocean suite, able to host 350 theatre-style or 400 for a reception, decked out in the hotel’s trademark pared-back and funky style. The Carbon Bar is perfect for exclusive parties of up to 400 guests, while Gary Rhodes’ award-winning restaurant, also on site, caters for the private dining rooms.
