The Private Room at The Ivy Information:

Dating back to the 1930s, the Private Room is situated on the first floor above The Ivy Restaurant, with which it shares an entrance. It has the same distinctive stained glass windows & modern British paintings as the restaurant, with period furniture & wood panelling throughout. A reception room containing a baby grand piano can accommodate up to 60 people for drinks, while the main dining area can seat up to 32 people on one oval table or 60 on individual round tables of 10. The whole room caters for 120 for a standing reception & can be used for a variety of events from book launches & television press viewings to breakfast meetings & wedding receptions.
