Dating back to the 1930s, the Private Room is situated on the first floor above The Ivy Restaurant, with which it shares an entrance. It has the same distinctive stained glass windows and contemporary British paintings as the restaurant, with leather furniture and wood panelling throughout. The design of the whole area was overseen by Martin Brudnizki, who also put together the interiors for The Club at The Ivy using specially commissioned art. The main dining area can seat up to 32 people on one oval table, or 60 on round tables of 10. The room has space for 120 standing and is popular for a variety of events, from product launches to wedding receptions.
