One of Europe’s finest art collections, The Wallace Collection occupies a palatial Marylebone townhouse in a garden square just off Oxford Street. With 25 galleries, the museum boasts a selection of spectacular backdrops for events, lending itself as readily to an intimate dinner for 20 guests as drinks for 400. Rooms are ornately decorated with priceless works of art and guests can have exclusive access to view historic paintings by Titian, Rembrandt, Hals and Velázquez. At the heart of the venue is the Courtyard, a striking contemporary space with a glazed roof and indoor alfresco appearance, holding 300 reception guests or 160 diners – it takes on a fairytale-like feel when lit at night.
