Centrally located on King’s Road, Chelsea Old Town Hall’s illustrious past is apparent the moment you walk through the marbled entrance hall. A classic example of late Victorian design, with ornate vaulted ceilings, soaring marble columns and mahogany-panelled walls, the venue provides an impressive backdrop for private events. The dramatic space lends itself particularly well to product launches, fashion shows and dinner dances, but lectures and conferences are also catered for. It’s worth noting that the hall has its own wedding licence as well as being adjacent to the famous Chelsea Register Office. Other highlights include a musicians’ gallery and a collection of original oil paintings.
