A suitably architectural showcase of etched glass, wood and black marble, the Grade II-listed RIBA makes a prestigious setting for events. The key to the building’s success is its fusion of old and new – it has the atmosphere you’d expect from a historic building, while offering the convenience and facilities of a modern venue. No less than 26 impressive spaces are available to hire. These include the 400-capacity Florence Hall, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace garden; the 70-seater Lutyens meeting room, which has a balcony; and the first-floor RIBA Gallery, which has clean white walls and space for 100 guests. The venue is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies.
