Venue Review of East Wintergarden
This spectacular, arched glass atrium in Canary Wharf soars above 682sq m of coloured marble floors. It has beechwood panelling on two walls and windows that look out towards Jubilee Park and the waterfront. A light-filled, elegant interior and 1am licence lend the space to exhibitions and product launches just as well as parties and banquets. In addition, a 4m x 3m LED screen and sound-absorbing acoustics will suit conference bookers. The Gallery, suspended above the main floor, can be hired on its own and a multi-media meeting room, the Promenade Room, seats 40. ‘Smart glass’, which turns from transparent to opaque, has been installed to give clients complete privacy from Bank Street.
